We are Change The Narrative Washington (CTNWA), representing the state of Washington and the communities of Lacey, Olympia, Tumwater, and Thurston County.  We are a Veteran Owned/Operated 501(c)(3) designated as a Public Charity, with five board members and two volunteers.  Change The Narrative WA provides consistent high-level support and resources for Veterans, First Responders, and their Families.  Our organization is dedicated to promoting and strengthening a world-class social service resource for individuals and their families dealing with mental health challenges, especially those facing a suicide crisis.

CTNWA aims to create mental health awareness for Veterans and First Responders and their Families within our communities of Lacey, Olympia, Tumwater, and Thurston County.  By bringing our guiding principle of ‘Together We Can Change Lives’, our team of experienced professionals and volunteers create a supportive environment crucial in dealing with mental health challenges and ultimately improving lives.  The team promotes understanding through advocacy and supports awareness through counseling, educational and recreational programs, and support groups.

For the summer of 2025, we are focused on 'Music for a Cause' as our way to raise awareness and money, not only this year but for future years and events to come.  The 'Music for a Cause' events will be held in Huntamer Park, Lacey, WA, and are planned to start in May and end in September.  Our event dates are May 17th, June 21st, August 16th, and September 20th.  There will be live music, DJ-driven tunes, a beer garden, vendors, food trucks, and fellowship for each event.  Additionally, we believe these events will bring our communities together, not only to raise awareness for Veterans and First Responders and their Families but to anyone who suffers from the effects of trauma.
